ISI Team Leader plays an extremely important role in the Iron Sharpens Iron Program. It is important to understand the core values of ISI before one can understand the role of a Team Leader. The ISI Team Leader plays the role of the coach for a group of 5 to 10 students for an entire school year. The Team Leader is more than a small group leader because he/she invests in the youth at a deep level emotionally, spiritually, and educationally. While the Team Leader may not be directly investing in each student on the team, he/she is working with the ISI Director to: 1) Teach ISI Curriculum 2) coordinate events 3) and connect with parents. This position is for the person(s) who wants to be heavily committed for a year, who has a heart for urban youth, and desires to help youth become leaders that positively influence those around them.
