Pastor Stephen Love grew up in South Bend and came to know Jesus Christ as a young boy. Since then, his faith has taken him to many places – marrying his wife, Mandy, in 2010; collegiate and graduate studies in Chicago (Moody Bible Institute), Orlando (Reformed Theological Seminary), and England (The University of Oxford); and back to South Bend with his family to plant Redemption City Church.

Stephen and Mandy felt God’s call to plant a church in South Bend in 2017. That dream became a reality in 2020 when Redemption City was launched. God had been working out this plan, and it came to pass even amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Alongside Stephen and Mandy are their four beautiful children - Stephen Jedidiah Jr. (b. 2012), Elias Nathanael (b. 2014), Jade Ruth (b. 2015), and Simeon Joseph (b. 2017).

Pastor Stephen comes to interpretation of Scripture with great humility, and that is a powerful lead-in to the discussion of perspective. We must each come to the table with a humble heart, ready to listen to the perspectives of others. This gets to the heart of our podcast and why we truly do all need each other.
