After hearing the latest episode of We All Need Each Other, you may be thinking about how you read Scripture. Pastor Jonathan Brooks gave some interesting thoughts about how our perspective shapes the way we read and interpret the Bible.
For today's blog post, we'd like to recommend some additional listening. Dr. Esau McCaulley is the author of Reading While Black and was recently featured on The Bible Project Podcast. His own experiences, current vocation and cultural location give him a unique way of reading the Bible. He is a New Testament scholar, a professor at Wheaton College and an Anglican Priest.
