A: Written prayer.

A: Mid-day time of prayer/liturgy.

RAQUEL STOREY

Q: What are your favorite practices for spiritual formation?

A: Daily meditation and lectio divina (sacred reading) with the Gospel, regular personal retreat (once or twice a year), regular Mass and Confession (Catholic sacraments), nightly intercessory prayer as a family.

Q: What's a practice that you've heard of and would like to start?

A: More intentional sabbath rest.

A: Silence, solitude, journaling.

Q: What's a practice that you've heard of and would like to start?

A: Prayer retreat.

STEPHEN LOVE

Q: What are your favorite practices for spiritual formation?

A: Abide days (long periods of time with just me Bible, notebook, and music); daily times in prayer; family worship.

A: Consistent/more regular fasting.

Common Prayer: A Liturgy for Ordinary Radicals by Shane Claiborne, Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove and Enuma Okoro is a book of daily prayers and special prayers for significant days on the calendar and specific situations. It also contains suggested readings, accompanying songs and devotional/historical narratives.

Streetlights Bible App is an audio Bible and so much more! It also has videos, curriculum, music and Spanish audio of much of the Bible.

Lectio 365 app is a free daily devotional that helps you pray the Bible every day. As mentioned by Raquel above, lectio divina (sacred reading) is a traditional way of reading and praying Scripture. This app walks you through a passage every day and guides you through the process of praying and processing what God may be saying to you through His Word.
